Jaguar
Within the Savage Collection the Jaguar marque has a strong representation including five excellent examples; a 1955 XK140 Fixed coupe; a 1964 Mark 11 3.4-litre auto; a 1966 Mark 11 3.8-litre manual; a 1967 Mark 11 2.4-litre manual and a 1969 E-type Series 2 4.2-litre coupe.
Each car has been chosen for the collection for their provenance and condition. All have been well maintained and are in sound running order. Roy Savage has been highly selective from the outset to ensure any car he acquired was for its provenance, low mileage and good condition. Many were particularly pursued for these reasons. There are Jaguar Trust Heritage Certificates for the Series 2 E-type, the XK140 FHC and the Mark 11 3.8. The cars come with dossiers of receipts including the original Certificate of Registration which details prior ownership and the date of purchase. The collection of Jaguars was put together between 1975 and 1980. The E-type is an import from Switzerland, converted to right hand drive and has only one prior owner. The Mark 11 3.4 auto also has only one prior ownership.
